Today is the day. Playing in My Shoes is happening right now at Patillo Apple Orchard, 180 Patillo Rd, and the Domino's Windsor truck is on-site with fresh pizzas ready to go.

If you have been following along this week and have been thinking about coming out — this is your reminder. The event runs until 5:00 PM and there is still plenty of afternoon left.

The Domino's Windsor truck is parked at Patillo Apple Orchard and we are serving fresh pizzas throughout the entire event. Whether you come out for the disc golf or just want to enjoy a slice in one of Windsor-Essex's most beautiful outdoor settings, we have you covered.

What Is Happening Today

Playing in My Shoes is a disc golf event presented by Innova Disc Golf to mark the first day of Accessibility Week in Canada. The event takes place at Patillo Apple Orchard, 180 Patillo Rd, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

Participants are invited to take on five challenge throws, each designed to help you experience disc golf from the perspective of someone navigating a physical limitation: wheelchair, wrong arm, blindfold, earplugs, and taped hand. It is approachable, meaningful, and genuinely surprising how much each throw shifts your perspective.

No experience is needed. The event is open to all ages and it is a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.

How to Get There

Search Patillo Apple Orchard or head to 180 Patillo Rd. Parking is available on-site. The event is easy to find once you arrive — follow the sounds of the course and look for the Domino's truck.
